CORETZ FAMILY FOUNDATION

Why Collaboration Matters

The Coretz Family Foundation (CFF) understands that collaboration is the key ingredient for organizations to fulfill their missions and solve some of Tulsa’s most complex issues. CFF seeks to provide the time, space, resources, and technical assistance organizations need to develop and implement groundbreaking, sustainable initiatives.

This approach reflects the Coretz Family’s entrepreneurial spirit and vision for fostering long-term, positive change through nonprofit collaboration in the Tulsa community.

Call to Action

Through data collection and interviews with our Collaboration Partners, we recognize the value of creating spaces for authentic collaboration and innovation. We encourage all stakeholders to join us in this work through the following action steps.

At the Coretz Family Foundation, we commit to:

  • Invest time and resources towards innovation and intentionally create spaces for collaboration.
  • A transparent and equitable grant process that supports organizations across the city with resources to address Tulsa’s most pressing issues.
  • Continuous improvement through data reflection to help support our strategic giving.

For Philanthropic Organizations and Foundations:

  • Invest in data infrastructure both at the organizational and community level and support city-wide data sharing across sectors.
  • Be transparent and equitable in grant applications, timelines, and processes.
  • Publicly share your list of grantees.

For Organizations:

  • Be intentional in collaborating with other organizations across different sectors.
  • Find ways to share resources and create effective partnerships.
  • Be bold…embrace innovative ideas that not only advance your organization’s mission but also drive lasting positive change, promote equity, and make a meaningful impact in the community.

For the Tulsa Community:

  • Prioritize working together by contributing your time, skills, and resources across various sectors and industries, strengthening our combined efforts to create real and lasting change.
  • Support organizations that are trying new things, taking risks, and partnering with other organizations across sectors.
