REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH

The most common subjects discussed included healthcare, current and potential problems, gaps in or missing ​resources, equitable access, factors of and reactions to maternal mortality rates, the impact and use of power, ​and pregnancy specific issues. Moderate discussion occurred on subjects of various kinds of education and the ​concept of doulas. Very little discussion happened regarding employment and the younger generation.
Most participants discussed healthcare. Issues mentioned encompassed:

  • Access to healthcare and impact of lack of access
  • The non-medical nature of administration.
